Abstract

This essay presents a reflection on human existence in the thought of Álvaro Vieira Pinto, whose basis lies in work and its existential dimensions through culture, education, technology, science, etc., under which the anthropoid becomes humanized in relation to nature through work. Our objective is to present the peculiar form of Álvaro Vieira Pinto's thought on the existence of man in the historical becoming of his dialectical life. To this end, our investigation studies the works: Consciousness and National Reality, Science and Existence, Demography with Science, The Concept of Technology, among others. In the exposition, the reflections are based on the dialectical method, whose basis of work brings the dimension of the human act of producing life and, with it, the dimensions of its existence. As a result, the reader will be able to verify the reflections made by Álvaro Vieira Pinto on human existence, whose movement in the production of goods necessary for life corresponds to a specific technical science, which is contemporaneous with the social being.
